A cohesive and contemporary new facade unifies two connecting properties along Forchstrasse, a prominent city entryway. This adaptive reuse scheme incorporates modern urban aesthetic needs and reflects Zurich's ongoing urban evolution through classic and lasting materials. Furthermore, existing courtyards are transformed into tranquil urban retreats.

The buildings' former industrial identity is emphasized in this transformation by introducing loft-style apartments and using heavy-duty materials. Access is provided via the pre-existing staircase. Dwellings in the recessed portion of the building are spacious family residences designed as standard apartments and maisonettes. Combined with studio accommodations, they offer a diverse and appealing assortment of housing options.
