Client: Municipality of Schwyz
The proposed building blends into the structure of the existing complex in an unpretentious way, due to its orientation and small amount of storeys. Referring to the present village structure, the project appears like a dense cluster within the area. The new building consists of two autonomously functioning school levels.
Entrances, thoroughfare areas as well as clearly assigned exterior spaces enable to keep the two separate school areas apart.
Spatially, a large atrium interconnects the two autonomous levels. Precisely directed views from the hallways establish a direct relation from the inside to the surrounding wide landscape.
