The holiday house in Escalet in the South of France is situated in a stunning location with a sweeping view over the lagoon and the open sea beyond.
The cottage was planned for three brothers with the aim of creating three equal bedrooms, each with the same orientation to the sea.
The ground floor contains a large living space with an additional terrace, the kitchen, a working area as well as a large fire place. The three bedrooms are located on the first floor, one next to the other, each room giving access to a large outdoor terrace. The two bathrooms and the corridor are located at the rear of the first floor.
Like a tent, the double saw-tooth roof stretches over the bedrooms and corridor, creating a dialogue with the Mediterranean sky and allowing the cool north light to pour into the rooms.
